State of the Nation (SONA) 2022
What we learn so far and what to expect looking forward and my thoughts. No more lockdowns but with a twist?

Last July 25, Philippine President BongBong Marcos Jr. has given his first State of the Nation (SONA) address. For those who may not know what the SONA event is, it is basically a yearly constitutional obligation wherein the President appears before the Philippine Congress and televised for the public and unveils the different agendas and goals of the government for the coming year.
BongBong Marcos’ SONA agendas have been very intriguing to say the least. And while there are many topic covered, I would like to focus more on 3 key agendas that I observed which may be key points to look forward.
Key Agenda 1: No More Lockdowns
One of the biggest key points Marcos has stated in his SONA is the fact that he has no plans in doing anymore lockdowns as we need to recover our economy.
“Sa ating sitwasyon ng pangkalusugan, nariyan pa rin ang banta ng COVID-19, lalo’t may mga nadidiskubreng bagong variants ng coronavirus.Pero hindi na natin kakayanin ang isa pang lockdown. Wala na tayong gagawing lockdown.” [applause]
(In our health situation, the threat of COVID-19 is still there, especially with the discovery of new variants of the coronavirus. But we cannot afford another lockdown. We will not do any more lockdown.)
“Dapat nating balansehin nang maayos ang kalusugan at kapakanan ng ating mga mamamayan sa isang banda, at ang ekonomiya naman sa kabilang banda.”-
(We must properly balance the health and welfare of our citizens on the one hand, and the economy on the other.)- BongBong Marcos’s SONA on lockdowns.
However while this may be promising, the devil is in the details as Marcos plans to continue promoting COVID-19 vaccine boosters despite the already shady results and “side-effects” of the COVID-19 vaccines. Looks like Marcos’ vaccine friendly plans will continue.
Key Agenda 2: The Territory Issue
Our country and basically the whole of Southeast Asia has been plagued with territorial disputes over the South China Sea with China in the mix.
On the area of foreign policy, I will not preside over any process that will abandon even one square inch of territory of the Republic of the Philippines to any foreign power. [applause and cheers]
With respect to our place in the community of nations, the Philippines shall continue to be a friend to all, an enemy to none. BongBong Marcos’s SONA on territory
Marcos stated that Philippine territory will not be given to any foreign power but simultaneously would want to make peaceful and diplomatic relations with other countries which may imply Marcos’ continuation in pursuing proper and peaceful relations with China.
While I may not be the biggest expert or am knowledgeable enough yet to fully understand the whole territorial debacle in Southeast Asia and critical with China’s technocracy and zero-COVID policy, one thing is for sure and it is that war and destabilization is not the way to go solving this issue mostly pushed by the US and the West. So Marcos may be going towards the less evil approach in this case, but as always, stay skeptical as events may change.
Exhibit D and many more examples Western globalist destabilization and warfare in Asia out there…
Yes, I would definitely trust the same entity that gave $40 Billion to Ukraine and the warfare state to bring “freedom” in Asia!
Key Agenda 3: The 4th Industrial Revolution & More Government Spending
Yes, Marcos did explain and talk about the 4th Industrial Revolution in the SONA itself. In fact he seriously emphasized the fact that we will move more to a more technocratic way of doing things and also insisted in promoting the digital and national IDs.
“On a related subject, we are entering an age of exponential adoption of technology. It is the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
This will be characterized by the infusion of technology into almost every facet of our daily lives. Breakthrough technologies in the areas of quantum computing, artificial intelligence, nano technologies, the internet of things, robotics, self-driving electric vehicles, 3D printing, Virtual and Augmented Reality, among others that will radically transform the way business is done.”
The National ID will play an important part in this digital transformation.
For citizens to be able to seamlessly transact with government, their identity must be easily verifiable.
We expect to issue 30-million physical IDs and 20-million digital IDs by the end of this year. The target is to accomplish the issuance of about 92-million IDs by the middle of next year.
- BongBong Marcos on the 4th Industrial Revolution and National IDs
While does this may sound good on paper, unfortunately the road to hell is paid with good intentions and this agenda is not an exclusive BongBong Marcos agenda as this is an agenda expressed by the World Economic Forum and their figurehead Klaus Schwab together with technocrats and transhumanist such as Yuval Harari who promote and concepts such as hackable humans, biosurveillace and surveillance in general, and biotracking which is all part of the elite’s planning of a social-credit style biomedical surveillance state.
PINOYS will eat Zeee Bugs and live in nipa hut pods!
Marcos and loyalists and fanatics claiming that Marcos is going lockstep with elite think tanks such as the World Economic Forum as a chess move to battle the global elite as a whole, however this may be a difficult proposition to accept as going lockstep with the same elite that promote depopulation and eugenics , and absolute control may be a hard sell.
Aside from the 4th Industrial Revolution, Marcos also proposed to add additional governmental programs which includes the likes of
Government Financial Institutions Unified Initiatives to Distressed Enterprises for Economic Recovery (GUIDE) ,
Department of Water Resources
The Establishment of a Medical Reserve Corps
The Center for Disease Prevention and Control (CDC)
Creation of the Virology Institute of the Philippines
While they may seem be promising with the likes of Water Resources since we Filipinos have issues with paying overpriced water bills and an inefficient water system, the establishment of major medical institutions such as a local CDC right after the whole COVID scam which brings some alarming red flags. In addition to more government institutions, this may possibly mean more spending and more taxation with an already ever increasing debt of the country and more loans to utilize.
To close things out, Marcos’ SONA showed interesting propositions in trying to build this country back from the losses during the lockdowns. No more lockdowns from the President himself shows a positive sign, but he still pushes through with other agendas such as the vaccine boosters and the 4th industrial revolution and is going lockstep to what the elite think tanks such as the likes of the World Economic Forum.
Is BongBong Marcos going to be a nation-first patriot that will play 7D chess to outsmart the global elite or a faux opposition that will send the Philippines into a hellhole? I guess we will just have to see what is coming up ahead.
